Type A personality - type A personality is the people that tend to lack on patient, suffer of anxiety ,always in the rush and can multi task for example being able to be on the phone to someone and typing on the computer , for example in football being able to hold a man off whilst doing a skill thats multi task.

Type B personality - type B personality is the people that are very calm ,low anxiety, relaxed and tolerant towards others for example when working in a office you are able to let your boss and other give you soo much work without complaining , In football when a player keeps on getting fouled they just let it go and dont react to others.

I think My athlete has a type A personality because he is very active and is always on a rush because he always has to be in a lot different places in one day because he has to be in many interviews. This effects his performances negatively because he may start to fatigue as he has to be always travelling and hes always in a rush . However , he also has a type B personality because before games he is very relaxed and focus to reach the best of his ability and he is also very creative during a game when he has to think quickly and perform a skill or a good pass to find hes team mate so this helps his performance in a positive way .

Definition of personality - the combination of characteristics or qualities that form an individual's distinctive character.

Description of Trait theory : is when your behaviour reflects you as sports player for example when on the field and out of the field your attitude and behaviour is the same. there are 2 types of trait theory introvert they dont seek attention and prefer calm environment for example someone that works in class independently then in a group. the other type is extrovert where they consistently look for attention and gets bored very easily for example in football as a striker if your not getting the ball you will track back to get involved or be constantly moving, balotteli is a great example because outside the pitch he does things to gain attention.

Description of situational approach: this is the behaviour you have due to different situations for example when speaking with your parent it will be different to when speaking to a friend so your personality changes.

Description of social learning:  is due to new experiences or social experience for example when you model someone like many kids copy neymar and act the way he acts in and out the field because thats their role model , there are 4 stages to it attention(tyhe model must get people attention by what they are doing) , retentions(to be able to retain the models skills and behavior in our memory) , motor reproduction( we must use our memory to remember the skill and behaviours when needed) and motivational response (unless we are motivated none of these matters). 

Description of interactional approach:  this considers on how your personality traits and situational approach works together and this is when you are usually calm and relaxed but your mood will change depending on the situation. During a game of football you may be very relaxed and calm until you start to be fouled and this will make your mood change if the referee does not give you the fouls.

Social learning and Interactional approach both applies to my athlete because neymar is a role model to many kids inside and outside the pitch due to the respect he has and the performances during games which makes kids trying to copy him , he is very spontaneous so no one ever know what he is going to do next so is very exciting and he is always performing new skills . Neymar is very calm and he is also very skill full however hes mood may change because he is always getting fouled, but kids always remember what he does and try copy him.

Plays at an elite level in football.

At the age of 19 neymar won the 2011 south American player of the year , received notation to the ballon d or where came 10th and this is a massive achievement for a 19 years old, Neymar won copa libertadores which is like the champions league in south america , received the bronze ball in the 2010 world cup. He is the 5th top goal scorer for his national team.won golden boots in the confederations cup and won title.
